'36 Days of Type' is an open call to all designers, illustrators, graphic artists and anyone in-between to creatively explore their own interpretations of the letterforms and numbers from the Latin alphabet.
The aim of the project is to explore the potential around visual language and letterforms, with participants asked to design a letter (or number) every day consecutively for 36 days. Not only does it allow for a daily creative expression, but it also asks us to consider the many possibilities around language and typography.
If our examples whet your appetite, visit the 36daysoftype Instagram account, which features designs ranging from 3D animations to handcrafted signwriting; there's something for everyone. To participate yourself, upload your design to Instagram and use the hashtag #36daysoftype
